Brand Repositioning & Visual Identity

Brand Repositioning & Visual Identity

Problem

As an iconic landmark, Kuala Lumpur Tower requires visual communication that remains relevant, engaging, and reflective of its cultural and tourism significance. Following a management transition, the challenge was to execute a fast rebrand that refreshes its identity, reconnects with Malaysians, and elevates its presence in a competitive city landscape.

My Approach & Contribution

I contributed to the development of a comprehensive branding toolkit and visual direction, repositioning the tower with a more contemporary and engaging identity inspired by the Kuala Lumpur night sky, including crafting of the mascot concepts: Kay Elle & Tawa. The result is a cohesive visual system that reinforces KL Tower’s identity as a recognisable national destination, delivering consistency and impact across multiple touchpoints within a tight timeline.
