Concept-Led Packaging Design

Concept-Led Packaging Design

Problem

Seasonal packaging often relies on surface-level aesthetics, lacking a distinct narrative or memorable interaction. The challenge was to create a gifting experience that goes beyond visuals: one that is conceptually strong, culturally resonant, and able to stand out in a saturated festive market.

My Approach & Contribution

As a creative designer at KEJU Enterprise, I contributed to the ideation and development of concept-led packaging in close collaboration with the Creative Director. The Mid-Autumn direction began with a floating moon, first explored through visual illusion in 2022, then evolved into a physical experience in 2023 using electromagnetic levitation, allowing the moon to suspend within the box.

In parallel, the Christmas concept explored movement as a storytelling device, featuring a rotating wheel inspired by theme park experiences, introducing a sense of play and interaction within the packaging. Across these projects, the focus was on integrating concept, form, and subtle technology to elevate packaging into a more immersive and intentional design outcome.

All featured works remain the property of KEJUBYCARMEN and are shown exclusively for portfolio presentation. Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
